How to become an authorised partner.

NYCET reviews the applicant, proposed premises, available resources and development plan before approval.

Provide information about the applicant, proposed centre, premises, available hardware and the local business-development plan.

Application review

The NYCET controlling office reviews the submitted proposal and may invite the prospective centre director for a personal discussion.

Centre assessment

When required, an NYCET professional team may visit the proposed location to assess its suitability and available facilities.

Who can establish an NYCET Study Centre?

The applicant should demonstrate professional capability, adequate resources and a genuine commitment to responsible computer education.

Professional or entrepreneurial abilityBe engaged in an IT-related activity or possess the ability to operate and develop a training centre.

Capacity to investBe prepared to establish suitable premises, learning infrastructure, equipment and dependable power support.

Commitment to qualityMaintain disciplined teaching practices and provide students with reliable, useful training.

Responsible partnershipWork as part of the NYCET network and follow its approved terms, procedures and operating guidelines.

Centre environment

Expectations from an affiliated Study Centre

Centres should preferably operate from an accessible location within the city, town or local service area. The premises should provide dedicated space for teaching, a computer laboratory and a reception or office area.

Rooms should be clean, well lit and properly ventilated. Block, sub-block and village-level centres may adapt the layout to local conditions, but a safe, organised and learner-friendly environment remains essential.

Equipment & resources

Facilities that support effective learning

The number of computers, printers, accessories, tools, consumables and licensed or appropriate software should reflect the expected student demand and the courses offered, in consultation with NYCET.

Each centre should also maintain a useful collection of prescribed books and learning references. Relevant journals or periodicals should be available so students can access current information beyond the classroom.
